Afterward, explore Angkor Wat’s rich history and impressive architecture. Built in the early 12th century, it was initially a Hindu temple for Vishnu but later became a Buddhist site. As the largest religious monument, it is famous for its grand scale and intricate bas-reliefs of Hindu mythology. After visiting and a short walk to the eastern gate, you will be transferred to a local restaurant near Srah Srang for a Khmer-style breakfast, where your bikes will be prepared for your next journey.

  • Cycling Adventure Through Local Markets & Temples

After breakfast, our expert guide will introduce you to your bike and provide safety instructions for road cycling. Begin your adventure by passing through local markets and traditional Cambodian villages, observing daily life, and engaging with friendly locals. Ride into the jungle surrounding Ta Prohm and explore its tree-covered ruins and mystical atmosphere. Continue cycling toward the northern gate of Ta Prohm to visit Tanei Temple, an off-the-beaten-path historical site, before making your way to the impressive Preah Khan Temple.

  • Ride to the Elephant Terrace & Explore Bayon Temple

Cycle through the dense temple forest to the Elephant Terrace, where you can take a short break and use the restroom before continuing your journey. Stop at a local vendor near Bayon Temple to sample fresh Cambodian fruits before exploring the iconic Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers with massive stone faces.

  • Final Cycling Stretch to South Gate & Return to Angkor Wat
