This is also a chance to get to know your fellow riders before heading out into the scenic rural landscapes.

  • Satcha-សច្ចៈ

The first stop is Satcha, a local workshop where you will witness authentic Khmer craftsmanship. Skilled artisans create handmade products from natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, and wood. You will learn about the history behind their techniques, see the tools in use, and interact with the artisans. While enjoying a freshly brewed cup of Cambodian coffee or herbal tea, you will gain insight into how these traditional crafts sustain local livelihoods and cultural heritage.

  • Totea Village Market

Leaving Satcha, cycle through peaceful rural villages where daily Cambodian life unfolds around you ,children waving, farmers working the fields, and water buffalo roaming freely. Ride along gravel countryside trails and enjoy the natural sounds of nature away from tourist areas. Visit a local village school to meet students and support education through a small donation. Continue to a family-run vegetable farm to learn about traditional farming methods before cycling through Krbey Rel Village, surrounded by beautiful rice paddies, where your guide shares insights into local culture, farming traditions, and village life.

  • Tuek Vil

Experience Nom Banh Chok, Cambodia’s famous breakfast noodle dish, in a hands-on cooking workshop. You will see how rice noodles are traditionally prepared from rice flour, water, and special techniques passed down through generations. After learning, you can make your own portion and taste the noodles with fresh herbs, local fish sauce, and flavorful broth. This is a rare opportunity to connect with Khmer culinary traditions in a participatory way.

  • ហាងម្លប់ខ្លុរ

After your noodle workshop, ride toward the Baray area for a relaxing lunch at Mlob Khnor. This restaurant overlooks the expansive Baray (Siem Reap Sea), offering stunning views of the water reflecting the sky. Enjoy local dishes made from fresh ingredients, including seasonal vegetables, grilled fish, or traditional rice dishes. This stop is also a chance to rest, hydrate, and enjoy the gentle breeze from the reservoir.

  • ម្លប់ឫស្សី បារាយណ៍ (Bamboo Roasted Siem Reap)

Post-lunch, you will visit villagers who specialize in making Kralan, sticky rice mixed with beans or coconut wrapped in bamboo and roasted over coals. Your guide will explain the cultural significance of this snack, often served during festivals and family celebrations. You may even try rolling your own Kralan, creating a delicious souvenir to take home.

  • West Baray

Ride to the shore of Baray, one of Cambodia’s largest man-made reservoirs, constructed during the Angkorian era. Learn about its historical purpose in irrigation and water management, how it sustained Angkor’s massive population, and its continued importance to local farmers. Take a short walk along the shore, watch fishermen at work, and enjoy panoramic views of the countryside reflected in the calm waters. Next, visit Wat Svay Lamet Pagoda, a small but vibrant Buddhist temple. Observe monks performing daily rituals, see beautifully painted murals depicting Buddhist stories, and experience the peaceful atmosphere. Your guide will explain the role of pagodas in Cambodian communities, including education, festivals, and spiritual life.

  • Wat Thmey (Killing Fields)

Your final cultural stop is Wat Kbal Kmoch, a site associated with Cambodia’s tragic recent history.
